Yes! Once you choose your class, you will be able to choose the Roman God or Goddess who best suits your class. You can read more on the Gods & Heroes: Rome Rising deity choices here. The choice of God/Goddess will also determine the God Powers you will be wielding in-game.

What is the Minion system?
There are more than 130 minions available in the game. You can hire the minions to join your forces for a fee, earn minions as quest rewards, get minion contracts as loot drops or earn their respect by beating them in combat situations. These minions include warriors, ranged attackers, casters, and mythological creatures. These hirelings utilize an AI system enabling them to heal you, attack, defend, form up in various formations and use special moves. In addition, each god makes a different mythical minion temporarily available to their scions.

In addition to the AI, players have the ability to control all aspects of their minions, such as telling a healer minion to heal a specific player, as well as selectable squad formations. As a character’s level progresses, they gain the ability to control more minions at once, until a character had a full squad with four minions. Each player will be able to bring up to 4 minions with them in a party. There will be challenges, quests, and some instances that would have limitations on the number of minions you would be able to bring along.

What is the Estates Feature? Is this just housing?
Estates are going to be a lot more than just housing. First of all, the literal scale of them is so much bigger – you won’t be trapped inside your little house in Gods & Heroes, you’ll have an entire valley all your own. This opens Estates up to even greater customization options and game mechanics than housing could ever provide.

Additionally, we’re going to make Estates about features, not just a place to show off trophies and customize. Estates will have an ever growing array of activities that players can play with that will have a real impact on their game play experience.

Will there be PVP in Gods & Heroes: Rome Rising?
PVP (Player versus Player) combat is very high on our list for post-launch features. Currently, Gods & Heroes: Rome Rising offers PVE (Player versus Environment).

Will there be crafting? Auction House? Harvesting?
We will be adding crafting & harvesting after launch, to tie to our Estates feature. We are currently designing and testing our Auction House.
